Praise God for His presence in these times of change due to Covid-19.
Praise Him for the wisdom given to our Prime Minister during these days, and pray that God will truly defend this nation, as our anthem asks, as we await the completion of this time.
Pray for nations all over this world, that their leaders will be led by God’s wisdom during these days, weeks, months, that the decisions they make will lessen the impact of this virus on their people, both physically, mentally, and economically.
Pray for protection over the leaders of governments also at this time, that they would remain well.
Praise Him for the ability to communicate by other means, as we seek to follow His instruction to fellowship with one another. Pray that His grace will be there as we walk in faith.
Praise God for the confidence we have in His name to bring peace in times of turmoil and uncertainty. These are indeed unprecedented times, but we remember that He has promised never to leave us, nor forsake us.
Praise Him for the smiles from strangers, for the different way of showing care for one another, for the extra time we have with loved ones who are physically with us, and for the those who connect with us electronically.
Pray for those who are essential workers, who are out there every day on our behalf, ensuring that we have access to food, healthcare, finance, information, and safety. Pray that God will bless them and keep them safe, that they would hear words of thanks and appreciation from those whom they serve, and that they will have times of rest to enjoy with loved ones within their ‘bubble.’
Praise God also for His still, quiet voice in our ordinary, everyday moments.
Pray for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done in this nation, and that worldwide people will experience a touch of God during these times, and that by God’s grace, people will come to know Him – even now.
