1Cor 11:26 – For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
We believe that it is good to take the bread and wine whenever we gather together on Sundays. We do this in remembrance of our Lord’s sacrifice and to celebrate and proclaim his death and resurrection victory.
Matt 4:19 – Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.
We believe that it is the call and the privilege of the worldwide church to share the good news of salvation through Christ with those who do not know.
John 1:5 – “The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.”
We believe that if we fix our eyes on Christ, the Living Word, then the darkness will not overcome us. We cannot fix our eyes on Him if we do not know Him. We come to know Him through His word. As we fellowship together around the word, we draw nearer to God.
